		<description>Your wisdom/luck in avoiding the decadent excesses of both Woodstock and Stonewall cannot be overestimated: that would prepare you well for San Francisco, 1981.  

BTW, as you know, jazz by 1969 was becoming what classical music had become -- music for an eccentric, middle-aged few:  back to the future, anyone!</description>
